What is the Black Male Teacher Network?

The Black Male Teacher Network is a community of Black male teachers, deepening their identity awareness and enhancing their careers. Through various forms of development, participants will gain skills, expand their networks, and build a community that leads to career advancement. 

Institutions will:

    • Invest in trainings for Black male teachers to learn how to facilitate affinity spaces for other Black male teachers

He is Me will

    • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for Black male teachers
    • Offer professional development to Black male teachers
    • Invite Black male teachers to career and community events

PARTNERSHIP BENEFITS

This partnership has short-term and long-term impacts, including:

    • Immediate and direct support for Black male teachers
    • Ongoing, unique development for Black male teachers
    • Increased retention of Black male teachers

Non-Binding Letter of Intent

I understand that this is a non-binding expression of intent for my institution to partner with He is Me Institute within the Black Male Teacher Initiative. By completing this form, I am signifying a commitment to ongoing discussions, understanding that it does not create legal obligations or commitments. Both parties retain the flexibility to pursue other opportunities independently.

Completing this form also gives He is Me Institute permission to name my organization in conversations for future funding. My organization also has permission to mention He is Me Institute as a future partner in my funding and partnership conversations.
