What is the Black Male Teacher Network?
The Black Male Teacher Network is a community of Black male teachers, deepening their identity awareness and enhancing their careers. Through various forms of development, participants will gain skills, expand their networks, and build a community that leads to career advancement.
Institutions will:
- Invest in trainings for Black male teachers to learn how to facilitate affinity spaces for other Black male teachers
He is Me will
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for Black male teachers
- Offer professional development to Black male teachers
- Invite Black male teachers to career and community events
